An experiment in which different observations receive different treatments and the allocation of units to treatments is entirely be chance (i.e., random).
For example: a concept test where each respondent is shown one concept and the process of allocating respondents to concepts is achieved by randomization.
Most completely randomized designs used in applied survey research are Single-Factor Completely Randomized Experiments. Factorial Experiments in applied survey research are almost almost always Repeated Measures.
